 In American lit we had to write 7 paragraphs analyzing the poem we read yesterday called “Out, Out-“. The poem was about a boy who was doing the work of a grown man who got his hand cut off by a saw then later dying. We had to analyze the setting and the personification of the saw. We also had to analyze the contrast between the saw and the setting. I only got to the fourth paragraph but I still feel like I did really good.
